Housing Navigator MA worked with the Metropolitan Area Planning Council on a collaborative research project that uses our data to understand for the first time the gap between the supply of affordable rental housing in Massachusetts and the number of households who need it. Unlike previous analyses, which could only look broadly at affordable housing, our findings are based on detailed, unit-level data that powers our search tool. This data is made possible by strong partnerships with property owners, managers, and public agencies in the state.
